environmental health recycling
Technology readiness level 7

Used in the processing of paper and cardboards recycled for food usage, it can remove MOSH and MOAH mineral oils, disposing of both the toxic aliphatic fraction, and the aromatic fraction, potentially carcinogenic. These dangerous mineral oils, would otherwise transfer from the recycled paper to the food.

Benefits: easily adaptable to existing processing lines, no changes made to cellulose color.

Application: deinking of waste paper.

☼Tested within contexts highly relevant to expected applications.
